We require guests to complete the ID upload before access information is released.

Guests must pay a deposit, depending on the platform they booked through.

Nearby on-street parking may be available, subject to signs, restrictions and availability. A public car park is also located within Moreton-in-Marsh. See the Parking & Travel page for full guidance.

Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage, with a dedicated vintage desk and chair in the top-floor bedroom. The Wi-Fi password is shared with guests after arrival.

The farmhouse-style kitchen is equipped for self-catering, including a cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Heating and hot water are available throughout the cottage. Detailed instructions for the heating controls are provided on arrival.

The upstairs shower is fitted with a Philips in-line shower filter, which reduces chlorine and impurities by up to 99% for a cleaner, softer and more refreshing shower. It is a small touch that is kinder to your hair and skin during your stay.

The kitchen cold tap is fed by an Aquapure under-sink water filter, certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 standards. The tap water is fresh and great-tasting, so it is perfect for drinking and cooking with no need to buy bottled water. There is nothing you need to do; simply use the tap as normal.

Bedroom One has a GoveeLife smart air purifier with true HEPA filtration to keep the air fresh. You are welcome to leave it running during your stay; its sleep mode is whisper-quiet at around 24dB. If you would prefer it off, simply press the power button on the top of the unit.

Pets may be accepted with prior written approval.

Guests must provide the number and type of pets before arrival. Additional conditions or charges may apply.

We want every guest to know exactly what to expect during your stay.

Mae Cottage itself is exclusively yours throughout your booking. There are no shared rooms or internal areas within the cottage.

The outdoor rear garden, however, is shared with the separate annexe building located behind the cottage. The annexe is independently occupied and has its own private internal space.

You may therefore occasionally see the annexe occupant entering, leaving or passing through the garden.

We simply ask everyone using the outdoor area to respect each other's privacy and enjoyment of the space.

Mae Cottage sits within an established community. Please keep noise to a respectful level, with quiet time observed from 9:00 pm.

Shared outdoor area. The rear garden is shared with the independently occupied annexe. Please be considerate when using the garden, particularly during early mornings and evenings.

An exterior security camera covers the outside entrance and street-facing area for property and guest safety.

There are no indoor security cameras.

Longer stays are welcome subject to availability. Please get in touch to enquire about extending an existing booking.

Requests for late checkout depend on the cleaning schedule and adjacent bookings. Please request in writing in advance.
